FOR CAREGIVERS
Set up Minds24
for a loved one.
Help your loved one get started, then join their care circle to stay connected. Their check-ins stay in their account. You’ll use your own account for caregiver access.
Help your loved one create their account
Sit together and help them register with their own email address, verify their email, and complete their profile. Choose “For my own check-ins” for the person taking the assessments. Let them review the permissions and choose what to save and share.
If you’re signed in to your own Minds24 account, sign out before helping them register. You’ll use your own account later for caregiver access.
Set up their accountConnect their Echo to their Minds24 account
In the Alexa app used for their Echo, enable Minds24 and choose Link account. Sign in with your loved one’s Minds24 account and review the connection together. This keeps their assessments and saved History in their account.
When you’re ready, say: “Alexa, open Minds Twenty Four.” Minds24 will guide them through their check-in, one question at a time.
Join their care circle
In your loved one’s account, open Care circle and help them send an invitation to your email address. Sign out of their account, then open the invitation from your own email inbox. Create your own account using the invited email address, or sign in if you already have one.
Complete your caregiver profile, review the invitation, and choose whether to accept it. Caregiver access starts after you accept. Your loved one chooses what to share, and you can manage your assessment email preferences.
A routine you can support together
Help them choose a comfortable time and a quiet place for their daily check-in. Their results are saved to History, and you can receive updates according to the sharing and notification settings you both choose.
