Amsety GmbH (“Amsety”, “we”, “us”) operates Minds24 and is responsible for the app and the processing of your personal information described in this notice.

How Minds24 currently uses data

Amazon processes your spoken answers and sends transcribed answers to Minds24. After you link your account and consent to saving check-ins, Minds24 stores your assessment responses, progress, dates, and separate results for cognitive performance, daily health, and mental well-being in Neon PostgreSQL. This lets you resume a check-in and review your history. Account linking requires sign-in and your confirmation. Minds24 stores one-way hashes of Alexa identifiers and connection tokens. Diagnostic logs exclude answers and personal identifiers. Alexa may retain voice interactions and result cards according to your Amazon settings and policies.

Hosting providers process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, to serve and secure the website. We use Vercel Web Analytics on public information pages to understand page views, traffic sources, approximate country, device and browser types, and interactions with website links and buttons. Analytics does not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Account, sign-in, invitation, assessment demo, and notification preference pages are excluded. We do not send names, email addresses, assessment answers, results, account identifiers, URL query parameters, or invitation tokens to analytics. Website analytics measures visits and public interactions; account registration records are maintained separately.

The caregiver photograph is an AI-generated illustration. For Minds24 accounts, Clerk processes sign-in information and uses cookies to keep you signed in. Minds24 stores your verified email, profile, time-zone preferences, and consent decisions in Neon PostgreSQL. Patient profiles also include the reason for diagnosis and other diagnosed conditions you optionally provide, your country, and ZIP or postal code. These profile details are not included in shared check-in history. You can send a caregiver invitation tied to a specific verified email and stop sharing at any time. Invitation recipients must sign in and accept before they can access shared history. Invitation links expire after 30 days.

Resend delivers caregiver invitations, invitation reminders, caregiver acceptance confirmations, communication preference confirmations, and assessment emails. Assessment emails include the patient’s name, check-in date and status, and separate scores when available; they do not include individual answers. They are sent according to the patient’s email preference or the caregiver’s accepted invitation, notification settings, and email consent. Pending email content is encrypted and removed from the delivery queue after sending. You can turn off assessment emails, withdraw permission to save new check-ins, stop caregiver sharing, or disconnect Alexa in your account. Disconnecting Alexa does not delete saved history. Text messages are not offered. Authentication messages, such as sign-in codes, are sent by Clerk when you use sign-in. After registration, you can choose whether to receive notifications and promotional communications from Amsety, limited to health-related information and liver-health educational content, with neither choice preselected. A Yes choice requires a separate email confirmation before promotional communications are enabled. You can decline or unsubscribe in Settings without losing access to Minds24 or essential service communications. To request account deletion or exercise your privacy rights, contact Amsety using the details above.

Depending on how you use Minds24, we may collect:

Name and contact information
Email address and mobile telephone number
Account and subscription information
Original reason for diagnosis and other diagnosed health conditions you choose to provide
Country and ZIP or postal code
Marketing and promotional communication preferences and consent decisions
Assessment responses and results
Cognitive, daily health, and mental well-being information
Assessment dates, completion status, and trends
Caretaker information and consent
Technical information needed to operate and secure the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

Information may be used to:

Provide and operate Minds24
Deliver assessments and generate results
Send email and text notifications
Send authorized caretaker notifications
Send marketing and promotional communications when you have chosen to receive them
Maintain accounts and subscriptions
Store and maintain data within our databases and systems
Conduct future scientific research and analysis related to liver health, patient outcomes and experiences
Support other health-related services and platforms offered by Amsety
Improve and secure the service
Meet legal and regulatory requirements

3. Caretaker Information

If you register a caretaker, Minds24 may collect their contact information to provide authorized notifications.

Caretakers must provide consent before receiving health-related notifications.

4. Health Information and HIPAA

Minds24 may process health-related information. HIPAA applies when and where Amsety is subject to HIPAA requirements, such as when Amsety acts as a business associate of a HIPAA-covered entity.

Where HIPAA applies, Amsety will follow applicable HIPAA privacy and security requirements and contractual obligations.

5. Sharing Information

Minds24 may use trusted service providers for functions such as hosting, communications, security, and authentication. Where required, appropriate contractual and privacy protections will be in place.

We do not sell personal health information.

6. Security

Minds24 uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and health-related information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

7. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of certain information. You may also manage available notification preferences through your Minds24 account.

Marketing consent is optional and separate from registration and essential service communications. You can change your choice or unsubscribe in Settings at any time. Declining marketing does not affect your ability to use Minds24.

8. Data Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, meet legal requirements, maintain security, and fulfill legitimate business purposes.

9. Security Incidents

If a security incident or breach occurs that requires notification under applicable law, Minds24 will provide appropriate notification. Where HIPAA applies, applicable HIPAA breach notification requirements will be followed.

10. Changes to This Notice

This notice may be updated from time to time. The updated version will include a revised effective date, and material changes will be communicated when required.
