Welcome to Minds24. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Minds24 website, assessments, notifications, and related services, provided by Amsety.
By creating an account, subscribing to, or using Minds24, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Minds24
Minds24 is a health monitoring and awareness tool designed to help users track changes in cognitive performance, daily health, and mental well-being over time.
Minds24 is intended to support health awareness and communication with a healthcare professional. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition and does not replace professional medical care.
Some Minds24 features may not be available in all countries or jurisdictions.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Minds24 provides monitoring and informational results based on information provided by the user. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose a condition, or replace evaluation or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.
Minds24 results should not be used as the sole basis for making medical decisions, changing medication, or starting or stopping treatment.
If you have concerning symptoms or believe you need medical attention, contact your healthcare professional or seek appropriate medical care.
3. Assessment Results
Minds24 assessments are designed to help users monitor changes in cognitive performance, daily health, and mental well-being over time.
Results are based on information provided by the user and may vary between assessments. Results are intended to support awareness and communication with a healthcare professional and should not be treated as a diagnosis.
4. Daily Assessments
Users may be encouraged to complete assessments at approximately the same time each day to support consistent monitoring.
The selected assessment time may automatically start or make an assessment available, depending on the features and settings available.
Users are responsible for providing accurate responses and completing assessments as scheduled.
Minds24 cannot guarantee that assessments or reminders will always be delivered at a particular time due to factors such as device settings, internet connectivity, mobile networks, or third-party services.
5. Caretaker Notifications
Users may choose to register a caretaker or trusted person to receive certain assessment-related notifications.
Users are responsible for providing accurate caretaker information and ensuring they have the appropriate permission to provide that person's information.
Where required, the caretaker must provide consent before receiving health-related information.
The type and frequency of notifications may depend on the user's settings, available features, and applicable law.
6. Email, Text, and Marketing Communications
Minds24 may send assessment results, reminders, account information, security messages, service updates, and other service-related communications by email or text message.
Message and data rates may apply depending on the user's service provider.
Users may manage available notification preferences through their account. Certain communications necessary to provide the Service may still be sent.
Marketing and promotional communications are subject to the user's preferences and applicable law. Users may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
7. Privacy and Health Information
Minds24 may collect account information, assessment responses and results, health-related information, caretaker information, communication preferences, and technical information needed to operate the Service.
How this information is collected, used, stored, protected, and shared is described in the Minds24 Privacy Notice.
Privacy rights and protections may vary depending on where you live and the laws that apply to your information.
8. HIPAA and Other Privacy Laws
HIPAA applies to Minds24 only when and where Amsety is subject to HIPAA requirements.
Where Amsety acts as a business associate of a HIPAA-covered entity, applicable HIPAA requirements and contractual obligations will apply.
Nothing in these Terms means that every use of Minds24 is subject to HIPAA. Users outside the United States may have different privacy and data-protection rights under the laws applicable to them.
9. Security
Amsety uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled through Minds24.
However, no online service can guarantee complete security.
Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials and devices secure and should notify Amsety if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.
10. Service Availability
Amsety aims to keep Minds24 available and functioning as intended but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, security incidents, third-party services, or circumstances beyond Amsety's reasonable control.
Amsety may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including for security, technical, operational, or legal reasons.
11. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate information to the best of their knowledge.
- Keep account credentials secure.
- Use Minds24 only for its intended purposes.
- Use the Service in accordance with applicable laws.
- Not interfere with the security or operation of Minds24.
- Not attempt to access accounts, systems, or information without authorization.
- Not rely on Minds24 as a substitute for professional medical care.
12. Intellectual Property
Minds24, including its software, content, design, assessments, trademarks, logos, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Amsety and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may access and use Minds24 for its intended personal purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, reverse engineer, or otherwise use Minds24 or its content without authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
Amsety may update Minds24 or these Terms when reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the Service, technology, legal requirements, or regulatory obligations.
Where required by applicable law, Amsety will provide notice of material changes.
If you do not agree with updated Terms, you may stop using the Service, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
14. International Use and Consumer Rights
Minds24 may be available to users in different countries. Laws relating to privacy, consumer protection, health information, communications, and digital services may differ between jurisdictions.
These Terms are not intended to limit or exclude any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under the laws of your country or jurisdiction.
If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement that applies to you, that legal requirement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
