FAQ

Good questions.
Simple answers.

What does a daily assessment cover?

Minds24 guides you through 10 cognitive tasks, 10 daily health questions, and 2 mental well-being questions. Some cognitive tasks have several parts. Each area has its own result; the scores are never combined into one overall score.

Who is Minds24 for?

Minds24 is designed for adults who want to stay aware of changes in cognitive performance, daily health, and mental well-being, as well as the family members or caregivers they choose to involve.

Do I need to download another app?

Spoken check-ins use an Amazon Echo. Download Amazon’s Alexa app on your phone or tablet to set up your Echo and enable the Minds24 skill. You do not need a separate Minds24 mobile app. Your Minds24 account is available through this website.

How do I get started?

Select Get Minds24 to create your account and follow the Alexa setup guide. Link Minds24 in the Alexa app so your assessment progress and results are saved to your account. You can choose assessment emails and invite a caregiver. The setup guide walks you through enabling Minds24 and linking your account.

What if I need more time?

Take one question at a time. Say repeat to hear a question again, pause to take a break, and resume to continue. You can also stop whenever you like. With your account linked, open Minds24 again later the same day to continue from your saved progress. A new day starts a new check-in.

Will my caregiver see everything?

You choose whom to invite. They must create an account or sign in with the email you invited and accept before they can access shared check-in history. Assessment emails follow your notification settings and their consent. Your registration health details are not included in shared history. You can stop sharing in your Care circle at any time.
